Energy Networks Australia (ENA) hosted its annual Parliamentary Reception at Australian Parliament House in Canberra yesterday, bringing together network members, affiliates and federal parliamentarians for an evening focused on the energy transition.

The evening opened with a Welcome to Country from Uncle Wally Bell, Buru Ngunawal Aboriginal Corporation, followed by remarks from:

A shared focus on the network’s role

Speakers touched on the scale of investment across transmission and distribution networks to support reliability, affordability and the pace of the energy transition, and the importance of continued collaboration between industry and government to get the settings right for consumers.
