Countdown to connection: a glimpse at the final EN2024 program

There is no doubt that the energy transition is now well underway. And as the energy industry, the challenge of getting this transition right falls to us. This is the perfect time to energise our perspectives and keep our eyes on the prize. The transformative work we are doing now will secure reliable and renewable energy for customers now, and into the future.

Energy Networks 2024 Conference and Exhibition is the biennial energy event – run by the industry, for the industry. Delegates will have the opportunity to connect, learn and guide Australia’s energy future, and there’s still time to secure tickets and cement your spot.

Today’s conversations come at a critical moment as we race to find solutions to our sector’s challenges. We hope that EN2024 will foster a dialogue that will shed light on – and prompt actionable solutions to – the unique challenges we face.

The program: a who’s-who of energy

Over 1000 delegates will experience a conference program that includes some of the foremost thinkers and doers in our sector and we can look forward to hearing from global, national and local players who will showcase the role of networks through the energy transition.

From keynotes, to panels and breakouts, there’s something for everyone. And we’ll make sure our roving microphones are charged to ensure plenty of opportunities to be part of the discussion.

Recognising the contribution of women in energy

On Wednesday 20 March, Transgrid will host an exclusive Women in Energy Networking Breakfast, with a leading panel of expertise including Dani Alexander, Chief Executive Officer – UNSW Energy Institute and Ashleigh Dalmau, Chief Operating Officer – Clean Energy Council.

Putting women at the forefront of energy conversations is imperative to closing the gender gap in our industry. In addition to this, the leading panel of experts will examine the needs for addressing system operability through the transition in order to maintain a safe and reliable backbone for customers. Read more from Transgrid in their paper, Building a better power system through system security and operability.

In addition to our engaging program, EN2024 offers rich networking opportunities and an innovative expo floor. Connect with industry peers, explore exhibits from leading companies, and enhance your professional network.
